2. What data we process

We process the data you provide through the contact form (name, email, telephone and the content of your query), the data needed to book an appointment and, where applicable, the data associated with payment for the consultation. If you become a client, we will also process the data needed to provide the legal service.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • To handle your query or contact request. Legal basis: your consent and the application of pre-contractual measures.
  • To manage the booking and payment of the first appointment. Legal basis: the performance of a contract or of pre-contractual measures at your request.
  • To provide the contracted legal service. Legal basis: the performance of the contract and compliance with legal obligations.
  • To comply with our legal obligations (tax, accounting and anti-money-laundering obligations where applicable). Legal basis: compliance with legal obligations.

4. Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to handle your request and, if you become a client, for the duration of the professional relationship and the legal limitation periods for liabilities (tax, accounting and professional). Afterwards, the data is blocked and securely deleted.

5. Recipients and processors

We do not disclose your data to third parties, except where required by law. In order to operate, the site relies on providers acting as data processors, with whom the corresponding contract is signed: the hosting and email provider, the appointment-booking tool (Calendly) and the payment gateway (Stripe).

6. International transfers

Some providers (for example, the booking and payment tools) may be located outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, transfers are carried out with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR (adequacy decisions or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).

7. Your rights

You may exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, as well as withdraw any consent given. To do so, write to us at info@abogaciayperitaje.com indicating the right you wish to exercise. If you consider that we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the AEPD (Spanish Data Protection Agency) (www.aepd.es).

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access, taking into account the state of the art and the nature of the data processed.
